Out and About

We experienced a quick snow shower this morning with huge clumps of snow. This after it being clear and a sunny 60 degrees yesterday. Saturday, February 16, 2019.

I took Beau to the Amtrak station in Ashland so he could make a spring break trip to Northern Virginia to visit one of his hall mates. I managed to grab some serendipitous art when the passing freight train came between Beau and I. Tuesday morning, March 7, 2017.

Morning at Milepost 4 in Kitty Hawk. Nothing like the violent beauty of the Atlantic Ocean crashing into a wind-whipped beach to wake you up. 20 degrees with the wind chill and the burning tingle in my un-gloved fingers let me know I’m alive in this moment.
